Another must visit restaurant at Pavilion KL. All the food I tried was fantastic. Fresh products, mix of different tastes, mind blowing experience for food lovers. The food I got at this place made me happy till the end of the day, and the place still warms my heart whenever I remember about it. Very tasty green tea. The service was nice and very fast. Waiting time for the first dishes was somewhere between 5-10 min. Ambience was good since it's in a mall and always busy. Would come back for sure.

I honestly have forgotten the names of what we ordered. But staff were attentive and friendly, also was amazed and entertained by the robotic server. Food was above average, servings were okay, definitely loved their roll with a lobster on its name.

Shoyu ramen here was an incredible experience. Pure magic! Sushi set was affordable and tasty too

Great restaurant, good food! Love the kitchen settings along with the tables and how you can see what is happening behind the scenes. I think it's really great! Me and Japanese restaurants are an endless story. So trust me when I say this is a great one. I have been to this restaurant in different location and they do these same awesome dishes. I thought the staff were friendly and smiley, if you are to go there make sure to not go alone! I think it's not so bright when I go alone so it'd be great.

Sushi Zanmai is one of my favourite sushi place to go, and I know I speak to a lot of people as well, judging by how crowded sushi Zanmai is most of the time in every branches. I love the branch in Avenue K, it's not as tight as the one in Gardens. Probably because it is barely that crowded in Avenue K itself. But hey, you have to do a long queue in several branches, and luckily not here. For food itself, I like how their sushi is really fresh and appetising but price wise is still affordable. My favourite dish in sushi zanmai is definitely their salmon sashimi, and their california maki roll. They have a lot of seasonal sushi as well, so do take note on that, you might find a different type of sushi now and then. The service here is also pretty good. Love how the waitress are pretty attentive towards their customer. Definitely going to come back every now and then to Sushi Zanmai and recommending this place to a lot of people.!

I LOVE SUSHI ZANMAI!!! As I just started falling in love with Sushi Zanmai, I visited the shop at least 1-2 times a week for dinner. It is just so good. For so many years, Sushi Zanmai has established their reputation in this industry. Every single time that I go to Zanmai, regardless of weekdays or weekend, I still have to queue for it, without fail and I am still willing to line up for it, same as others. I think this is because of their consistency on presenting the quality of the food. My favourite orders here would be Ebidon, Ebi sushi, Cawanmushi, Shashimi Salad with sesame dressing, etc... If I would to list down all the food, there will be a long list. Another reason that I visited Sushi Zanmai a lot, is because of their prices are very reasonable, compared with other Japanese Restaurant out there, while they are serving good Japanese Food and lot of choices. Apart from that, the staffs are very polite and friendly while serving you. Sushi Zanmai, highly recomended!

I am a huge fan of Japanese sushi! Especially sushi(s) where the ingredients are fresh and the sticky rice is just nice (not too sticky and doesn't break into pieces). During my foundation years, I had the chance to do a presentation in an English class where I presented about the process flow of making sushi(s). Unfortunately, it was a difficult task especially when it comes to finding good and fresh ingredients to rolling these sushi(s) into perfect sizes. From then on, I never underestimated sushi chefs! *salutes* As I'm very particular when it comes to sushi(s), I want them to be made perfectly. So, rumors saying that Sushi Zanmai can entice my taste bud to a whole new level! I was hesitant, so I took a step in inviting my friends to visit Sushi Zanmai after an entrepreneurship talk in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). After indulging myself with these great sushi(s), I regretted not visiting this sushi specialist any earlier. Every time I enter a sushi joint, I will order Chuka Idako which is seasoned baby octopus with sticky rice as well as fresh sashimi/salmon. I had orgasm in my mouth, like literally. All along I thought that Sushi Zanmai's pricing is incongruous comparatively with others but after that experience, I feel that my money is well spent! I don't mind queue-ing (yeah, there is always a big crowd) for this ever again!

My ultimate favorite sushi place in KL so far. Great sushi and good value. Zanmai is a chain with outlets in Nu Sentral, Avenue K and many others. The menu is excellent, offering many sushi options and hot dishes. I really recommend the chicken gyoza and the salmon sushi plate (with different varieties of salmon sushi). The outlets I've visited look fairly similar, with a really nice asian themed decoration. The service is ok most of the times, but is not very consistent. I've had great experiences and a few disappointing ones, but, in average, the service was ok. It is quite common to have to wait in line for a table, but it doesn't take too long. I really recommend this place!
